Easy 4-Ingredient Pecan Pie Cobbler Recipe

A quick and easy pecan pie cobbler made with just 4 ingredients, featuring a buttery cake mix crust and gooey pecan filling. Perfect for family dinners and potlucks.

  • 1 ½ cups pecans, chopped
  • 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Spread chopped pecans evenly across the bottom of the prepared dish.
  3. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Sprinkle evenly over pecans. Do not stir.
  4. Sprinkle the entire box of dry cake mix over the pecan and brown sugar layer. Spread evenly.
  5. Pour melted butter evenly over the top of the cake mix. Do not stir.
  6. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, until top is golden brown and edges are bubbly. Center should still have a slight jiggle.
  7. Let cool on a wire rack for at least 15 minutes before serving.

Notes

Do not stir the layers. Use room temperature butter. Toast pecans first for extra flavor. Let cobbler rest for at least 15 minutes before serving to allow filling to set.
