This creamy copycat pumpkin spice cold foam coffee is proof that you don’t need a coffee shop to get your fall fix. It’s quick, simple, and tastes just as good—if not better—than the version you’d pay five bucks for.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 tablespoons heavy cream or whole milk
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin puree
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla syrup (or 1 teaspoon vanilla extract plus 1 tablespoon maple syrup)
  • 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 810 ounces brewed coffee or espresso

Instructions

  1. Brew a strong cup of coffee or pull a double shot of espresso. Set aside to cool slightly.
  2. In a blender or milk frother, combine heavy cream, pumpkin puree, vanilla syrup, pumpkin pie spice, and salt.
  3. Blend on high for 30-45 seconds until thick and fluffy.
  4. Fill a mug with ice (for iced version) or leave empty (for hot version).
  5. Pour the brewed coffee over the ice or into the mug, leaving about an inch of space at the top.
  6. Scoop the cold foam onto the surface of the coffee using a spoon.
  7. Sprinkle a pinch of pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon on top as garnish.

Notes

Use cold ingredients for best foam. Don’t over-blend or use too much pumpkin puree to avoid watery foam. For dairy-free, use full-fat coconut cream or barista-style oat milk. The cold foam can be stored in the fridge for up to two days; re-blend before using.
