These Easy Turkey and Cheese Pinwheel Lunch Box Roll-Ups are a quick, protein-packed lunch idea that takes about 10 minutes to assemble. Cream cheese, turkey, cheddar, and everything bagel seasoning are rolled in a flour tortilla and sliced into perfect spirals that hold up beautifully in lunchboxes without getting soggy.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 (8-inch) flour tortillas
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 810 slices deli turkey
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 12 teaspoons everything bagel seasoning
  • Optional: thinly sliced cucumber, bell pepper strips, fresh spinach leaves, or Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese by letting it sit at room temperature for 15-20 minutes, or microwave on low for 10-15 seconds.
  2. Lay one flour tortilla flat on a cutting board. If cold, microwave for 10 seconds to make it flexible.
  3. Spread a thin, even layer of cream cheese over the entire surface of the tortilla, going all the way to the edges.
  4. Place 2-3 slices of turkey evenly over the cream cheese, overlapping slightly.
  5. Sprinkle about 2 tablespoons of shredded cheddar over the turkey. Add any optional add-ins now.
  6. Sprinkle a pinch of everything bagel seasoning over the filling.
  7. Starting from one edge, roll the tortilla tightly toward the other edge, keeping the filling tucked in. Press gently to seal the seam.
  8. Wrap the rolled tortilla tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 15-20 minutes.
  9. Unwrap the chilled roll and slice into 1-inch thick pinwheels using a serrated knife with a gentle sawing motion.
  10. Arrange the pinwheels in a lunchbox or container. Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Notes

For the cleanest slices, wipe your knife clean between cuts. The pinwheels taste better the next day as flavors meld. Do not freeze. For a dairy-free version, use dairy-free cream cheese and skip the shredded cheese. For gluten-free, use gluten-free flour tortillas or large lettuce leaves.
